Too $hort dropped Cocktails in January of 1995. By February it had moved over 100,000 copies and went on to platinum status by the end of the year. Guests include MC Breed, The Dangerous Crew, the album’s producer Ant Bank, as well as Tupac Shakur. Amazingly, Cocktails has never seen a commercial vinyl release. Get On Down rectifies that oversight on RSD Black Friday with an exclusive double LP color-in-color vinyl reissue (LP 1 pressed on ultra-clear vinyl with Tangerine and LP 2 on ultra-clear vinyl with Blue Jay), housed in a gatefold jacket and topped off with a collectible OBI strip.
