Mdou Moctar – Niger EP Vol. 1 12" yellow vinyl

Coming March 10, 2023: Mdou Moctar releases the first and second installments of the Niger EP series. In the past year Moctar has dazzled audiences across the globe with his live performances and released Afrique Victime, which Pitchfork declared “the fullest portrait of Moctar’s gifts that he has offered yet.” According to bassist Mikey Coltun, The Niger EPs “examine the roots of the Mdou Moctar band… a mix of recordings documenting the band at weddings, picnics, rehearsals, and even at impromptu house concerts. A must have for any Mdou Moctar fan!”
