Compiled over 3 years by Stooges historian Graham Ling from original cassette recordings from his and Easy Action Records archives. For the very first time all of the recordings are in the correct running order, speed corrected and untampered with except sonically cleaning and mastering. Features completely unheard material. Only 800 boxes will be made available as this project is more of a historical document than a commercial release ‘righting the wrongs’ of the last 45 years of cut n paste Stooges albums. FeatureS first-hand accounts of these concerts (often very amusing!) as well as photos from the actual shows in a 24 page Booklet.

The issuing label has drawn attention to a production fault:
"It is with deep regret that we must inform you that we have discovered that the 40 second band intro on disc 3 track 5 is not on the CD .. although it was present in the individual track’s masters somehow (and we don’t yet understand why) it was missing from the DDP master (CD master) and we are deeply sorry as this was supposed to have been the final word on The Whisky. Graham Ling is understandably upset about this and is no way responsible this is a production foul up…. as is track 11 (chat) which doesn’t exist."
